Dear Dennis,
On May 28, upon my nomination and confirmation by the
City Council, you were appointed to serve on the City's
Park and Recreation Advisory Committee. You will replace
Dr. Wayne Allen whose term expired and who resigned from
the committee. Your term will be for three years, expiring
at the end of May 1995.
I am enclosing a copy of the Committee's Mission Statement
which outlines the responsibilities and duties of the
Committee. The Committee is now engaged in revising the
City's Park and Recreation Master Plan first drawn in 1987.
We look forward to the addition of your expertise on this
committee. Thank you for your willingness to participate.
