A RESOLUTION: AWARDING THE DESIGN AND ENGINEERING SERVICES
CONTRACT FOR THE IDA LEE INDOOR TENNIS CENTER TO
VOLLMER ASSOCIATES, LLP FOR $172,000.
WHEREAS, the Ida Lee Indoor Tennis Center is a funded capital project; and
WHEREAS, in response to a public solicitation for the design and engineering services for
the Ida Lee Indoor Tennis Center, the Town received two proposals on March 6,2006; and
WHEREAS, the requests for proposal were evaluated by an evaluation committee in
accordance with the Town's purchasing policy; and
WHEREAS, Vollmer Associates LLP of Leesburg, Virginia was rated first to provide the
design and engineering services for this project.
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia that the
Town Manager is hereby authorized to execute a contract, in a form approved by the Town
Attorney, with Vollmer Associates LLP, in the amount of$172,000 for providing the design and
engineering services for the Ida Lee Indoor Tennis Center.
