RESOLUTION NO. 71-1138
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF TEMPLE CITY DENYING A VARIANCE
IN ONE VARIANCE CASE NO. 71 -341.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY DOES
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the City Council does hereby find,
determine and declare as follows:
(a) That the owners of certain real
property located in the City of Temple City,
County of Los Angeles, State of California,
located at 9638 Gidley Street in said City,
more particularly described as:
Lots 69 and 70, Tract No. 12998, Book
25, Page 264 of Maps in the office of
the County Recorder, County of Los
Angeles, State of California,
have heretofore appealed the action of the
Planning Commission in Resolution No. 71 -426 PC
denying a zone variance to add and expand
structures on M -2 zoned lots currently occupied
by nonconforming uses; and
(b) That the City Council conducted a
duly noticed public hearing on such appeal,
that said hearing was duly closed; and
(c) That based upon the evidence adduced
at said hearing, the City Council files and
applicable staff reports, and each member of
the Council being familiar with the proposed
site, said Council determines that the facts
required by Section 9201 of the Temple City
Zoning Ordinance were not present and therefore
the zone variance application should be denied.
SECTION 2. That the zone variance application herein -
above described be and the same is hereby denied and
Resolution No. 71 -426 PC confirmed in all respects for
the reasons above set forth.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this Resolution.
