Dear Ms. Oliver:
While digitizing and archiving and Tax Bill files, it was discovered that the
original Special Tax Bill #15790 RELEASE was still in the property file. This bill
was paid and released on January 19, 2010. However,when the original release
was mailed to the property owner of record at that time, it bounced back to the
City as undeliverable, and has remained in the file since then.
Since you are now shown as the property owner of record, I am enclosing the
original document for your property records.

Payment should be made to:The City of Jefferson,and mailed to the Office of the City Clerk.
Tax liens which become delinquent are turned over to the Cole County Tax Collector's Office each year for inclusion
in your annual property tax assessment.After they have been turned over to the County,they can no longer be
