A RESOLUTION:
AUTHORIZING THE TOWN MANAGER TO SIGN JOINT
REPRESENTATION AGREEMENT
WHEREAS, the Town Council of Leesburg has engaged the services of Attorney Thomas
Nicholson to represent the Town's interests regarding the alignment ofa transmission power line by
Virginia Dominion Power in Loudoun County; and
WHEREAS, the Town has agreed to allow for joint representation by Mr. Nicholson for this issue
with the Beauregard Estates Homeowners Association; and
WHEREAS, the Shenstone Farms Homeowners Association needs to secure the services of Mr.
Nicholson; and
WHEREAS, the Shenstone Farms Homeowners Association supports the position of the Town
regarding the alignment; and
WHEREAS, should Shenstone Farms Homeowners Association's interest come in conflict with
the Town's position, Mr. Nicholson will solely represent the Town of Leesburg,
THEREFORE, RESOLVED that the Council of the Town of Lees burg in Virginia hereby
authorizes the Town Manager to sign a joint representation agreement between the Town of Lees burg,
Beauregard Estates Homeowners Association, and Shenstone Farms Homeowners Association in
accordance with this resolution.
