A RESOLUTION:
MAKING APPOINTMENTS TO THE AD HOC SE/SW TRAIL COMMITTEE
WHEREAS, during it's February 2,2006 meeting, the Planning Commission recommended to
Town Council the establishment of a citizen committee to address the lack of trails in the southeast and
southwest quadrants of Town; and
WHEREAS, on February 14,2006 the Leesburg Town Council passed Resolution No. 2006-27 to
accept the Planning Commission's recommendation to establish an Ad Hoc SE/SW Trail Committee; and
WHEREAS, on April 25, 2006 the Leesburg Town Council passed Resolution No. 2006-78
establishing the Ad Hoc SE/SW Trail Committee; and
WHEREAS, an advertisement was placed in the Leesburg Today to solicit volunteers for this
committee; and
WHEREAS, Councilmembers have also brought forward names for inclusion in this committee.
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia the
following residents are appointed to the Ad Hoc SE/SW Trail Committee: Eve Weber, Sandy Sinden,
Mary Buckwalter, Todd Severance, Cindy Gambogi, Russ Shaw, Sandra Smallwood, Mark Newton,
Adria Frie, Paul Corcoran, Cheryl Steinhice, David Dunleavy, David Butler, and Peter Fulcer.
PASSED this 9th day of May 2006.
