A RESOLUTION: APPROVING A SUPPLEMENTAL APPROPRIATION OF $1,000 RESULTING
FROM DONATIONS TO THE KEEP LEESBURG BEAUTIFUL COMMUNITY
CLEAN UP.
WHEREAS, the Town of Leesburg works with Keep Loudoun Beautiful, neighborhoods, non-profit
groups, schools, and businesses to implement Keep Leesburg Beautiful, a community clean-up effort; and
WHEREAS, the Town has received a donation of$50 from Kelly Insurance Agency, Inc.; $200
from Carter Braxton Real Estate Company; $250 Keane Entreprises/Oaklawn II, LLC; $250 from Mitchell
& Best Homebuilders, LLC.; and $250 Toth Financial Advisory Corp.; and
WHEREAS, the Town also received several in-kind donations including graphic design from Ms.
Michelle Knuff, resident; food from Ms. Wanda Ruffner, resident; a $25 gift card from Costco; advertising
services and space from the Loudoun Times-Mirror; and additional orange bags from the Virginia
Department of Transportation;
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia as follows:
SECTION I. The FY 2006 General Fund Town Manager's Office Budget is hereby amended and an
appropriation is made in the amount of$I,OOO for the fiscal year beginning July 1,2005 and ending June 30,
2006.
SECTION II. The Town Manager's Office Budget is amended in the amount of$I,OOO.
