A RESOLUTION: AWARDING THE HARRISON STREET NE IMPROVEMENTS
CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT
WHEREAS, Harrison Street NE Improvements is a funded Capital Project; and
WHEREAS, in response to a public solicitation for bids for the construction of the Harrison
Street NE Improvements, the Town received bids on May 4, 2006, from the following firms:
. Tessa Construction & Tech Co., LLC
$544,000.00
. Sigma Builders' Group
$563,121.36
. F. Mucciardi Co., LLC
$626,600.00
. Fort Myers Construction Corporation
$708,903.25
. Arthur Construction Co., Inc.
$764,628.26; and
WHEREAS, the bids were evaluated by the Director of the Department of Capital Projects
Management and the Chief Purchasing Officer in accordance with the Town's purchasing policy;
and
WHEREAS, Tessa Construction & Tech Co., LLC. was determined to be the lowest
responsive and responsible bidder; and
WHEREAS, this is a unit price contract; and
WHEREAS, sufficient funding is available to award this contract; and
WHEREAS, the Director of Capital Projects Management recommends awarding this
construction contract to Tessa Construction & Tech Co., LLC, in the amount of $544,000 for
construction of the Harrison Street NE Improvements project.

A RESOLUTION: AWARDING THE HARRISON STREET NE IMPROVEMENTS
CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia that the
Town Manager is authorized to execute a contract, in a form approved by the Town Attorney, with
Tessa Construction & Tech Co., LLC, in the amount of $544,000 for the construction of the
Harrison Street NE Improvements project.
PASSED this 23rd day of May 2006.
