A RESOLUTION: A WARDING THE FORT EVANS ROAD SIDEWALK AND
DRAINAGE PROJECT CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT
SERVICES CONTRACT TO ALPHA CORPORATION, INC. OF
DULLES, VIRGINIA
WHEREAS, the Fort Evans Road Sidewalk and Drainage project is a funded CIP; and
WHEREAS, in response to a solicitation for Construction Management Services on the
Fort Evans Road Sidewalk and Drainage project, five proposals were received from the
following firms:
. Alpha Corporation, Inc. of Dulles, VA
. Volkert & Associates, Inc. of Alexandria, V A
. McDonough Bolyard Peck of Fairfax, V A
. A TCS, PLC of Dulles, VA
. Froehling & Robertson, Inc. of Dulles, V A
WHEREAS, all proposals were evaluated by a selection committee in accordance with
the Town's Purchasing Policy and the requirements of the Request for Proposals; and
WHEREAS, Alpha Corporation, Inc. was rated first by the selection committee; and
WHEREAS, the Director of Capital Projects Management and the Chief Purchasing
Officer recommend awarding the Construction Management Services contract for Fort Evans
Road Sidewalk and Drainage project to Alpha Corporation, Inc.
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia that the
Town Manager is authorized to execute a contract in a form approved by the Town Attorney for
Construction Management Services with Alpha Corporation, Inc. in the negotiated amount of
$236,711.66.
