A RESOLUTION: MAKING AN APPOINTMENT TO THE THOMAS BALCH LIBRARY
COMMISSION
WHEREAS, Council desires to appoint effective individuals to serve at its will and pleasure on
these advisory boards; and
WHEREAS, on July 24,2000, Council adopted Resolution No. 2000-148 establishing a
procedure concerning appointment of individuals to town boards and commissions; and
WHEREAS, five vacancies exist on the Thomas Balch Library Commission; and
WHEREAS, Councilmember Burk has considered parties interested in serving on the Thomas
Balch Library Commission.
THEREFORE, RESOLVED that the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia hereby
appoints the following to the Thomas Balch Library Commission: Brenda Butler and James Roberts are
appointed to a term to ending June 30,2008; Joan Rokus is appointed to a term ending June 30, 2010;
James Hershman. Jr. and Martha Schonberger are reappointed to a term to ending on June 30,2010.
