A RESOLUTION:
MAKING APPOINTMENTS TO THE LEESBURG STANDING
RESIDENTIAL TRAFFIC COMMITTEE
WHEREAS, participation by public-spirited citizens to Town boards and commissions is vital to
the success of town government and the democratic process; and
Whereas, boards and commissions serve an indispensable role in providing recommendations
concern Town policy and programs, and
WHEREAS, Council desires to appoint effective individuals to serve at its will and pleasure on
these advisory boards; and
WHEREAS, on July 24,2000, Council adopted Resolution No. 2000-148 establishing a
procedure concerning appointment of individuals to Town boards and commissions.
WHEREAS, all seven citizen representatives, one from each of the four quadrants of Town and
three (3) at-large terms expire on June 20,2006.
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Lees burg as follows: Dave Butler
(SE), Kerry Roberts (NE), and Tom Marshall (NW) are appointed to serve a two-year term to expire on
June 30, 2008; Terry Elvers (SW) is reappointed to serve a two-year term to expire on June 30, 2008; and
Liz Whiting, Brian Rolston, and Sandra Kane, are reappointed at-large to serve one-year term to expire on
June 30, 2007.
