A RESOLUTION: APPROVING THE DATE OF SATURDAY, OCTOBER 20, 2007 AS
THE INAUGURAL DATE FOR THE "COURT AND MARKET DAYS
IN LEESBURG" EVENT, WITH A RAIN DATE OF OCTOBER 21 ST
WHEREAS, in February of 2006, the Mayor and Council approved the formation of an Court and
Market Days Advisory Group to work with Town staff to begin the steps to produce a heritage-based special
event in the wake of August Court Days; and
WHEREAS, the Advisory Group has agreed on the date in 2007 to be Saturday, October 20th
with a rain date of October 21 st.
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Lees burg in Virginia to approve the
date of Saturday, October 20, 2007 for the Court and Market Days event, with a rain date of October 21 st.
PASSED this 25th day of July 2006.
