AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 22 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE, BEING ORDINANCE
NO. 2325-1968, COMMONLY KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RICH-
MOND, INDIANA, ADOPTED JUNE 3, 1968.
WHEREAS, the Zoning Map which is part of Ordinance No. 2325-1968 designates
and describes as C-1 Neighborhood Business District, the following
described property located at 1390 National Road West, in the City
of Richmond, Indiana, more particularly described as follows:
Lots numbered 15, 16, 17, 18 and 19, all in Earlham
Heights, as laid out by Charles B. Moling and
William E. Moling in the Northwest Quarter of
Section 6, Township 13, Range 1 West, in Wayne
County, Indiana, as shown by Plat Book 3, page
87 in the Recorder's Office of Wayne County,
Indiana, hereinafter referred to as "Real Estate".
WHEREAS, it is the intent and purpose hereof to change the zoning classifica-
tion on the above described area from C-1 Neighborhood Business
District to C-2 Community Business District; and,
WHEREAS, a study of this Ordinance was conducted by the Richmond City Plan
Commission the day of , 1978, at which time
remonstrances were heard from all parties interested in or affected
by this Ordinance.
WHEREAS, the vote of the Richmond City Plan Commission was to
in favor of/in opposition to recommending the passage of Ordinance
No. 44-1978.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana, as
follows:
SECTION 1. It is hereby ordained that the zoning classification of the above
described property be, and the same is hereby changed to C-2 Community
Business District, and that said property be regulated in accordance
with the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Richmond, Indiana, and all
amendments thereto.
SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after
its passage and approval as by law required.

Dear Mr. Austerman, Members of Common Council and Mrs. Trimble:
The Richmond City Plan Commission received a letter from Mr. Kent
Klinge, Agent in this matter, requesting the petition to rezone
be withdrawn.
Therefore, the Plan Commission voted seven (7) to zero (0) to
recommend that Ordinance No. 44-1978 be stricken.
