CITY OF TIFFIN RESOLUTION NO. 2005 -
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE AN
"AGREEMENT FOR THE CLOSING OF A CITY STREET' ..
WHEREAS, Slim's Saloon and Greg Stevens "and Terry Miller -desire that the
City of Tiffin allow Third Street, in Tiffin, Iowa, to be closed.from the west
edge of Main Street to- the east edge of the alley adjacent to Slim's Saloon, for
the purposes -of a z,y\u_-�L► k4z .party and desire to enter into an
Agreement with the"City.of Tiffin, Iowa, allowing for the closing of.the public
area for said party, which is scheduled for Saturday, 20�

NOW,_THEREFORE, BE, IT RESOLVED. BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF TIFFIN, IOWA: That after the execution of the attached Agreement, -
Third Street from the west edge of Main Street to the east edge of the alley
adjacent to Slim's Saloon, may be closed by Slim's Saloon, Greg -Stevens and

be held by Slim's Saloon, Greg Stevens and Terry Miller, in accordance with
all
prevailing laws, ordinances,. rules and regulations, and the terms of the
Agreement, which is attached hereto and incorporated herein;

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby
authorized to execute the attached Agreement between the City of Tiffin and
Slim's Saloon, Greg Stevens; and Terry Miller.

AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT FOR
THE CLOSING OF A CITY STREET, and made a motion for approval. The
motion was seconded by Councilperson Bartels
Ayes: Gericke, Huedepohl, Dils, Bartels and Petersen
None.
