WHEREAS, it has peen determined that it is now necessary to appropriate more money than was appropriated in the annual budget; NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RICHMOND, WAYNE COUNTY, INDIANA: SECTION 1. That for the expenses of said municipal corporation the following additional sums of money are hereby appropriated and ordered set apart out of the several appropriations, herein named and for the purposes herein specified, subject to the laws governing the same: AMOUNT AMOUNT PARK AND RECREATION FUND REQUESTED APPROPRIATED 01-06-00-2-0-2110 Freight 100.00 100.00 01-06-00-2--2520 Repair of Equipment 1,000.00 1,000.00 01-06-00-4-0-4300 Repair Parts 3,900.00 3,900.00 TOTAL 5,000.00 5,000.00 SECTION 2. WHEREAS, it has been shown that certain existing appropriations now have unobligated balances which will not be needed for the purposes for which appropriated, it is further ordained that the following existing appropriations be reduced in the following amounts. PARK AND RECREATION FUND Cash Operating AMOUNT REQUESTED 5,000.00 AMOUNT REDUCED 5,000.00 TOTAL 5,000.00 5,000.00 SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval by the Mayor and is subject to the laws of the State of Indiana governing emergency appropriations. City August 7, 1978 , at the hour of 7:30 p.m. . Councilman Paust presided with the following members present: Messrs. Ahaus Carter Elstro Merchanthouse Mills , Welch Williams Absent: Austerman , The following business was had to -wit: (OTl1ER BUSINESS HAD) The Clerk presented proof of publication of Notice to Taxpayers printed in the Richmond Palladium Item, a newspaper of general circulation in the City of Richmond, Indiana, on the dates of July 20th and July 27th Said notices stated that a public hearing would be held on the 7th day of August, 1978 , by the Common Council to consider additional appropria- tions as provided for in Ordinance No. 55-1978 , within the City of Richmond, Indiana. The proof of publication and posting of notices were examined and found to be correct and in order. Councilman Mills moved the proof of publication and posting of notices be received and ordered filed, seconded by Councilman Welch and on voice vote the motion was carried.
