A RESOLUTION APPROVING DEPOSITORIES FOR THE CITY OF TIFFIN,
JOHNSON COUNTY, IOWA AND APPROVING DEPOSIT LIMIT FOR EACH
DEPOSITORY
WHEREAS, the City of Tiffin, Johnson County, Iowa is required by the State of
Iowa to resolve approved depositories for the City of Tiffin,
AND WHEREAS, the City of Tiffin, Johnson County, Iowa ig also required to
approve depository limits for each named depository;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of Tiffin, Iowa,
that it herby names Solon State Bank of Tiffin, First Trust & Svgs. Bank of Oxford, and
Hills Bank of Hills as approved and official depositories for the City of Tiffin,
AND BE IT ALSO RESOLVED, that each depository is authorized and approved
a depository limit of five million dollars.
ON THE 19th DAY OF January , 2005, at aspecial
Meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin, Iowa, Councilperson Huedepohl
Introduced A RESOLUTION APPROVING DEPOSITORIES FOR THE CITY OF
TIFFIN, JOHNSON COUNTY, IOWA AND APPROVING DEPOSIT LIMIT FOR
EACH DEPOSITORY, and made a motion for approval. The motion was seconded by
Councilperson Bartels
Ayes:Gericke, Huedepohl, Dils, Bartels, and Petersen.
Nays: None.
Motion carried.
WHEREUPON, Mayor Glenn R. Potter declared that the RESOLUTION
APPROVING DEPOSITORIES FOR THE CITY OF TIFFIN, JOHNSON
COUNTY, IOWA AND APPROVING DEPOSITY LIMIT FOR EACH
DEPOSITORY, be adopted and signified his approval of the same by affixing his
signature thereto.
PASSED, by the council on the 19th day of January ,2005, and
approved by the Mayor on the 19 th day of January ,2005.
