Minutes from 1/22/08 Motion: AP-approve minutes. JH seconded. 3 yes. 2. Minutes from 2/12/08 Motion: JH-approve minutes. KJ seconded 3 yes. 3. Minutes from 2/29/08 No quorum to approve these. 4. Minutes from 3/4/08 Motion: JH-approve minutes. AP seconded 3 yes. 5. Linda Pinto-variance request for 23 Fox Crossing Road The following variances were requested: 1. Septic tank to be 4 feet below finished grade 2. Distribution box to be 4' below finished grade 3. SAS to be 6' below finished grade Motion: JH-grant variances as requested. AP seconded. 3 yes. 6. Maria & William Gaine-extension request for 94 Cedar Hill Road Mr. & Mrs. Gaine had received a variance for their property last June and would like to have an extension because the work will not be done prior to the expiration date. Motion: JH-grant extension for 1 year. AP seconded. 3 yes. 7. Discuss information from CCC re: Nickerson Farm The Board liked the idea of monitoring wells. The Board also felt that they did not want to single any one barn out, and they would like to come up with regulations to encompass all barns/animals in Brewster, W W W.'I OW N.QRE WS"I ER.MA.US BOH 3/18/08 minutes Page 2 especially the ones in Zone II. The Board also felt that the Town of Orleans should be helping with the inspections that the CCC is trying to require. Bills to be paid: ]H-pay bills. AP seconded. 4 yes. 1. MHOA registration $38.00 2. W.B. Mason supplies $9.16 Informational items: 1. Letter from Bennett Envir. Assoc. re: Amphidrome Wastewater Treatment Plant Status 2. Minutes from 1/25/08 Coalition meeting 3. Restaurant seating information 4. Assistant Health Director's February report 5. Testing information on 7 & 9 Thousand Oaks Road 6. Information from DEP re: Aggregate determination of flows & nitrogen loading and program update Part 1, etc. 7. Massachusetts Public Health Regionalization Project Status Report 8. Testing information for 54 Mates Way 9. Approval to site a source & conduct pumping test for Camp Favorite Add On's NI asked if DB would be able to attend the CCC meeting on Thursday March 20, 2008 regarding the DCPC. DB stated that he would try and attend. )H asked if the April work meeting could be moved to April 22"d. The Board agreed to this.
