WHEREAS, Sound Football Club is the sole premier soccer club chartered by
Washington Youth Soccer to represent the Edmonds and Northshore School
Districts; and
WHEREAS, the Girls 09 Division, 12-13 year old’s, won the Washington Youth
Soccer State Championship Cup and went onto regionals on June 19th; and
WHEREAS, the Boys 04 division, 17-18 year old’s, won the Washington Youth
Soccer State Championship Cup and went onto regionals on June 19th; and
WHEREAS, these groups of boys and girls came together as a team, not just a
group, and showed all of us what a team can accomplish when individuals
support each other;
NOW, THEREFORE I, Mason Thompson, Mayor of the City of Bothell, hereby
recognize Sound Football Club and the accomplishments of both the Girls
09 and Boys 04 teams.
