A RESOLUTION: AUTHORIZING A DEFERRAL OF THE REQUIREMENT TO CONSTRUCT A
CONNECTION TO THE EXISTING END OF A YR STREET, NW, FROM THE
NORTH SIDE OF THE LOUDOUN HOSPITAL LEESBURG MEDICAL
CAMPUS
WHEREAS, a Final Development Plan for a 100,000-square foot Western Loudoun
Medical Center medical office building on the Loudoun Hospital Leesburg Medical Campus has
been submitted to the Town of Leesburg; and
WHEREAS, Section 13-73 of the Leesburg Subdivision and Land Development
Regulation requires a connection on the north side of the hospital site to the existing Ayr Street,
NW; and
WHEREAS, the connection to Ayr Street would not create a public road through the
hospital site, but would provide an important connection to the existing street grid and an
alternate access into the site from the north; and
WHEREAS, the developers of the Western Loudoun Medical Center have requested the
construction ofthe connection to Ayr Street, NW, be deferred and included with a future phase
of improvements at the hospital site by the owner, INOV A-Loudoun Health Care, Inc.; and
WHEREAS, INOV A-Loudoun Health Care, Inc., plans future development or re-
development of the Leesburg Medical Campus; and
WHEREAS, the Town expect the next Final Development Plan submitted for
improvements at the Leesburg Medical Campus would include the construction of the Ayr Street
connection.

THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia as
follows:
SECTION I. The request by the developer of the Western Loudoun Medical Center on
the Loudoun Hospital Leesburg Campus to defer the construction of the connection to Ayr
Street, NW, at the north side of the site is approved.
SECTION II. The next Final Development Plan submitted for the Loudoun Hospital
Medical Campus should include the construction of the Ayr Street connection.
