WHEREAS, Public Law 94-369, Title II, Public Works Employment Act of 1976 was enacted July 22, 1976. WHEREAS, the Federal Act and promulgated Federal regulations require each local government to use its payments to maintain basic services customarily provided and maintain levels of public employment. WHEREAS, it has been determined it is now necessary to appropriate mom. money than was appropriated in the annual budget. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RICHMOND, WAYNE COUNTY, INDIANA: SECTION 1. That for the expenses of said municipal corporation, the following additional sums of money are hereby appropriated and ordered set apart out of the Antirecession Fiscal Assistance Fund and for the purposes herein specified, subject to the laws governing the same: AMOUNT AMOUNT REQUESTED APPROPRIATED ANTIRECESSION FISCAL ASSISTANCE FUND $ 45,677. $ 45,677. These funds are to be appropriated for the following project: MOTOR VEHICLE HIGHWAY Materials for cement curb and sidewalk repairs and replacement. SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval by the Mayor and is subject to the laws of the State of Indiana governing emergency appropriations.
