AN ORDINANCE TO TRANSFER WITHIN THE GENERAL FUND.
WHEREAS, it has been determined that it is now necessary to appropriate more money
than was appropriated in the annual budget;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RICHMOND, WAYNE
COUNTY, INDIANA:
SECTION 1. That for the expenses of said municipal corporation the following
additional sums of money are hereby appropriated and ordered set apart out of the
several appropriations, herein named and for the purposes herein specified, subject
to the laws governing the same;

SECTION 2. WHEREAS, it has been shown that certain existing appropriations now have
unobligated balances which will not be needed for the purposes for which appropriated,
it is further ordained that the following existing appropriations be reduced in the
following amounts:

SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its
passage and approval by the Mayor and is subject to the laws of the State of Indiana
governing emergency appropriations.

Dear Mr. Austerman, Members of Common Council & Mrs. Trimble:
I am coming to you at this time for a transfer of funds
from categories of which this being the middle of the year
I feel comfortable in the transfer from the noted categories.
As you are not aware, this year I have attended two state
training schools of Weights and Measures and there is one
yet to go. I have been elected Vice President of the
"Indiana Association of Inspectors of Weights and Measures"
which I feel was an honor to bring to our City.
In July at the National Conference of Weights and Measures,
out of the 500 delegates I was elected to the Executive
Committee, which I feel was another honor for our City.
I go to these meetings to participate and be an intricate
part of the conference and it has proven beneficial to me
as far as the learning part is concerned.
It is important to me to attend these training schools to
get the information needed to better the function of our
office.
Your consideration in this matter is and will be appreciated
now and in the future.
