AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 22 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE, BEING ORDINANCE
NO. 2325-1968, OU41 NLY KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF
RICHMOND, INDIANA, ADOPTED JUNE 3, 1968, PROVIDING FOR THE REZONING OF
PROPERTY LOCATED AT 2600 NATIONAL ROAD WEST AND 2700 NATIONAL ROAD WEST
FROM R-2 ONE FAMILY RESIDENCE DISTRICT TO C-2 OUIVUNITY BUSINESS DISTRICT.
WHEREAS, the Zoning Map which is part of Ordinance No. 2325-1968 designates
and describes as R-2 One Family Residence District, the following
described property located at 2600 and 2700 National Road West,
in the City of Richmond, Indiana, more particularly described as
follows:
Richmond Terrace Addition 150 thru 181
Richmond Terrace Addition 217 thru 220
WHEREAS, it is the intent and purpose hereof to change the zoning classifica-
tion on the above described area from R-2 One Family Residence Dis-
trict to C-2 Comnin;ty Business District; and,
WHEREAS, a study of this Ordinance was conducted by the Richmond City Plan
Cotnnission the day of 1978, at
which time remonstrances were heard an all parties interested
in or affected by this Ordinance.
WHEREAS, the vote of the Richmond City Plan Commission was to
in favor of/in opposition to recommending the passages Ordinance
No. 78-1978.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana, as
follows:
SECTION 1. It is hereby ordained that the zoning classification of the above
described property be, and the same is hereby changed to C-2 Camunity
Business District, and that said property be regulated in accordance
with the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Richmond, Indiana, and all
amendments thereto.
SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after
its passage and approval as by law required.
