AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 22 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE, BEING ORDINANCE
NO. 2325-1968, OD"IDNLY KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF
RICt DND, INDIANA, ADOPTED JUNE 3, 1968, PROVIDING FOR THE REZONING OF
PROPERTY LOCATED AT 115 SOUTHWEST 3RD STREET FROM R-3 ONE -TO -EIGHT
FAMILY RESIDENCE DISTRICT TO C-2 COMNIIMTY BUSINESS DISTRICT.
WHEREAS, the Zoning Map which is part of Ordinance No. 2325-1968 desig-
nates and describes as R-3 One -to -Eight Family Residence District
the following described property located at 115 Southwest 3rd
Street, in the City of Richmond, Indiana, more particularly de-
scribed as follows:
Lot JP4 Peter & Mary A. Husson Subdivision to the
City of Richmond Page 27 Plat Book 5 in Recorder's
Office
WHEREAS, it is the intent and purpose hereof to change the zoning classifica-
tion on the above described area from R-3 One -to -Eight Family Resi-
dence District to C-2 Commmity Business District; and,
WHEREAS, a study of this Ordinance was conducted by the Richmond City Plan
Commission the day of , 1978, at which
time remonstrances were heard from all parties interested in or
affected by this Ordinance.
WHEREAS, the vote of the Richmond City Plan Commission was to
in favor of/in opposition to recommending the passagag--e—oT Ordinance
No. 79-1978.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana, as
follows:
SECTION 1. It is hereby ordained that the zoning classification of the above
described property be, and the same is hereby changed to C-2 Comity
Business District, and that said property be regulated in accordance
with the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Richmond, Indiana, and all
amendments thereto.
SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after
its passage and approval as by law required.
