AN ORDINANCE TO TRANSFER WITHIN THE GENERAL FUND.
WHEREAS, it has been determined that it is now necessary to appropriate more money
than was appropriated in the annual budget;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RICHMOND, WAYNE
COUNTY, INDIANA:
SECTION 1. That for the expenses of said municipal corporation the following
additional sums of money are hereby appropriated and ordered set apart out of the
several appropriations, therein named and for the purposes herein specified, subject
to the laws governing the same:

SECTION 2. WHEREAS, it has been shown that certain existing appropriations now have
unobligated balances which will not be needed for the purposes for which appropriated,
it is further ordained that the following existing appropriations be reduced in the
following amounts.

SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its
passage and approval by the Mayor and is subject to the laws of the State of Indiana
governing emergency appropriations.

The Department of Comm pity Developn ,t is requesting a transfer
of funds from Official Records ($175.00), Stationery and Printing
($100.00), and Subscriptions and Dues ($75.00) to Publication of Legal
Notices ($300.00) and to Repair Parts ($50.00).
These transfers are requested on the basis of anticipated and
actual need shown by the use and projected use of these accounts over
the last eight r,�onth period.
