October 24. 2006 RESOLUTION NO. 2006-182 ADOPTED October 24.2006 A RESOLUTION: REAFFIRMING THE TOWN COUNCIL'S POSITION REGARDING A LONG-TERM LAND USE VISION FOR THE GREATER SOUTHEAST LEESBURG AREA AND UPDATING THE RECOMMENDED GEOGRAPHIC AREAS FOR REFERRALS AND JOINT PLANNING. WHEREAS, The Town Council's position regarding a long-term land use vision for the greater southeast Leesburg Area is best reflected in Resolution No. 2005-156 adopted by the Town Council on September 27,2005; and WHEREAS, a Council motion on October 11 refined the Council's specific geographic boundaries for joint land use actions by reaffirming that the current LAMP planning area is the geographic boundary within which development applications shall be forwarded to the Town for referrals and that the Leesburg Joint Planning Area (former UGA) and reflected on the attached map, shall constitute the area designated for joint planning, in-so-far-as joint planning shall be defined to include joint decision making responsibilities with Loudoun County.
