HomeMy Public PortalAbout083-1978 - Appropriation - Vehicle Highway FundAPPROPRIATION ORDINANCE NO. 83-1978 AN ORDINANCE TO TRANSFER WITHIN THE MOTOR VEHICLE HIGHWAY FUND. WHEREAS, it has been determined that it is now necessary to appropriate more money than was appropriated in the annual budget; NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RICHMOND, WAYNE COUNTY, INDIANA: SECTION 1. That for the expenses of said municipal corporation the following additional sums of money are hereby appropriated and ordered set apart out of the several appropriations, herein named and for the purposes herein specified, subject to the laws governing the same: MOTOR VEHICLE HIGHWAY FUND O1-02-00-2-0-2130 Traveling Expense AMOUNT AMOUNT REQUESTED APPROPRIATED $ 300 Total $ 300 $ 300. $ 300. SECTION 2. WHEREAS, it has been shown that certain existing appropriations now have unobligated balances which will not be needed for the purposes for which appropriated, it is further ordained that the following existing appropriations be reduced in the following amounts. MOTOR VEHICLE HIGHWAY FUND 01-02-00-4-0-4260 Sewer Materials AMOUNT AMOUNT REQUESTED REDUCED $ 300. Total $ 300. $ 300. $ 300. SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval by the Mayor and is subject to the laws of the State of Indiana governing emergency appropriations. Indiana Association of Cities and Towns 78th annual convention, 1978 Indiana Public Transportation Con- ference, October 11 - 13 and a second transportation conference in November, the annual Street Commissioner Convention in November. The expenditure to date from the travel account is for the North American Snow Conference at Cincinnati. This was attended by my -self and two members of the department. The snow conference was not planned in budgeting for 1978 due to it's location not being announced until the first of 1978. In light of the last two winters we attended gaining new information and in -sight to the snow removal problems. Thank -You, Jerry R. Ha es Director of Transportation r
