A RESOLUTION: APPROVING A SUPPLEMENTAL APPROPRIATION OF A DEPARTMENT OF
AVIATION GRANT FOR $8,667 TO THE LEESBURG EXECUTIVE AIRPORT
FOR AIRPORT TERMINAL SIGNS
WHEREAS, The Leesburg Executive Airport has applied for and been awarded a Promotional
80/20 Matching Grant by the Virginia Department of Aviation for the design and installation of airport
terminal signs; and
WHEREAS, the grant is in the amount of $8,667 to pay for 80% of the total cost of$1O,834 to
purchase the signs; and
WHEREAS, this money is unanticipated revenue for this year's Airport Budget; and
WHEREAS, the matching funds in the amount of $2,167 will come from available funds from the
FY 2007 Airport Budget.
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia that the FY 2006
Airport Budget is hereby amended and an appropriation is made in the amount of $8,667 for the fiscal
year beginning July 1,2006 and ending June 30, 2007.
