AN ORDINANCE TO APPLY A PERMANENT 17 2 HEAVY PWNFACTURING ZONING
CLASSIFICATION TO PROPERTY ANNEXED BY ORDINANCE NO. 38-1978, AS
PROVIDED UNDER ARTICLE 14.06 OF THE ZONING ORDINANCE AND CHAPTER
22 OF THE 1,13NICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF RICHMOND, WAYNE COUNTY,
INDIANA.
WHEREAS, Article 14.06 of the Zoning Ordinance provides that newly
annexed territories be given a final zone classification
within six (6) months after annexation; and,
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 38-1978 annexed certain territories to the
City of Richmond in July, 1978; and,
I%TE tF.AS, a notice was given and a public hearing on this Ordinance
was conducted by the.Richmond City Planning Commission the
day of 1978, at which time re-
monstrances were eard from all parties interested in or
affected by this ordinance; and,
WHEREAS, the vote of the Richmond Planning Commission was Ic-
to in favor of/ice recommending the
passageoOrdinance No. 87-1978.
THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of Rich-
mond, that:
SECTION I. The following described real estate be zoned 14-2 Heavy
Manufacturing:
South half of southwest quarter of Section 20, Town-
ship 14 Range 1 West containing 79.59 acres more or
less except that part conveyed to the Chesapeake and
Ohio Railway Company containing (.8) eight tenths of
an acre leaving 78.79 acres in said tract.
Subject to: Any right of way or easements of record.
SECTION II. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage by Cotamn Council and approval by the Mayor
and the publication hereof as required by law.
