AN ORDINANCE TO APPROPRIATE WITHIN THE PARK & RECREATION FUND.
WHEREAS, it has been determined that it is now necessary to appropriate more money
than was appropriated in the annual budget;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RICHMOND, WAYNE
COUNTY, INDIANA:
SECTION 1. That for the expenses of said municipal corporation the following
additional sums of money are hereby appropriated and ordered set apart out of the
several appropriations, herein named and for the purposes herein specified, subject
to the laws governing the same:

PARK & RECREATION FUND REQUESTED APPROPRIATED
1-6-0-3-0-3210
Gasoline $ 2,000. $ 2,000.
1-6-0-3-0-3120
Fuel Oil 1,000. 1,000.
Total $ 3,000. $ 3,000.
SECTION 2. WHEREAS, it has been shown that certain existing appropriations now have
unobligated balances which will not be needed for the purposes for which appropriated,
it is further ordained that the following existing appropriations be reduced in the
following amounts.

Cash Operating $ 3,000. $ 3,000.
Total $ 3,000. $ 3,000.
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its
passage and approval by the Mayor and is subject to the laws of the State of Indiana
governing emergency appropriations.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana, this

EXCERPTS OF 111E MEETING OF THE COMMON
COUNCIL OF Tlih CITY OF RICHMOND, INDI ANA
The Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met in regular session in the
Council Chambers in the Municipal Building of said City November 6, 1978 ,
at the hour of 7:30 p.m.
Councilman Austerman presided with the following members present:
Messrs. Ahaus Carter Elstro ,
Merchanthouse Mills Paust ,
Welch Williams
Absent: None ,
The following business was had to -wit:

The Clerk presented proof of publication of Notice to Taxpayers printed in the
Richmond Palladium Item, a newspaper of general circulation in the City of
Richmond, Indiana, on the dates of October 20th and October 27th
Said notices stated that a public hearing would be held on the btft day of
November, 1978 , by the Common Council to consider additional appropria-
tions as provided for in Ordinance No. 89-1978 , within the City of
Richmond, Indiana. The proof of publication and posting of notices were examined
and found to be correct and in order. Councilman Mills moved the
proof of publication and posting of notices be received and ordered filed,
seconded by Councilman Williams and on voice vote the motion was
carried.

After hearing all persons present, Ordinance No. 89-1978 was placed on
fina.1 passage or rejection and on n call of the. roll the following was recorded:

The vote being 9 - _to 0 — in favor of passage of Ordinance No.
