CITY OF TIFFIN IOWA RESOLUTION NO. 2006- 9
A RESOLUTION APPROVING AN AGREEMENT CONCERNING LOCATION
OF ELECTRIC TRANSMISSION LINE WITH CIPCO
WHEREAS, the City of Tiffin's future road development includes a
reconstruction of Jasper Avenue;
WHEREAS, Central Iowa Power Cooperative, herein after "CIPCO", currently
has or seeks right-of-way easement agreements with certain landowners adjacent to
Jasper Avenue; and
WHEREAS, CIPCO, desires assurances from the CITY as to the preservation and
expansion of CIPCO's right-of-way easements so as to provide proper accommodation
for the electric transmission lines and appurtenant facilities to coincide with the future
road development of Jasper Avenue; and
WHEREAS, the City desires to enter into an agreement with CIPCO regarding
the terms and conditions of the proposed agreement; and
WHEREAS, attached hereto is a draft of such an Agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of Tiffin, Iowa,
that the draft Agreement attached hereto between the City and CIPCO is hereby approved
and the Mayor and Clerk are authorized to execute the same.
ON THE 3"& day of April 2006, at a special/regular meeting of the Tiffin City
Council, Tiffin, Iowa, Councilperson 13a,+e is introduced, A
RESOLUTION APPROVING AN AGREEMENT CONCERNING LOCATION
OF ELECTRIC TRANSMISSION LINE WITH CIPCO and made a motion for
approval. The motion was seconded by Councilperson 1) ; 1 s

Motion carried.
WHEREUPON, the Mayor declared that the A RESOLUTION APPROVING AN
AGREEMENT CONCERNING LOCATION OF ELECTRIC TRANSMISSION
LINE WITH CIPCO, be adopted and signified his approval of the same, by affixing his
signature thereto.
PASSED, by the Council on the 3k6- day of April 2006, and approved by the Mayor on
the 3V -%c day of April 2006;
