A RESOLUTION: AUTHORIZING AMENDMENT NO.2 TO THE EMPLOYMENT
CONTRACT BETWEEN THE LEESBURG TOWN COUNCIL AND
TOWN MANAGER JOHN A. WELLS
RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia as follows:
SECTION 1. In accordance with Paragraph No.2, line three (3) of the Town Manager's
employment contract, is amended to include attendance to the LEAD Virginia program for
Calendar Year 2007; and
SECTION II. In accordance with Paragraph No.4 of the Town Manager's employment
contract, a five percent performance increase is approved in the Town Manager's annual salary by
the Mayor and Town Council effective October 1,2007.
SECTION II1. The necessary appropriation of funds is authorized to be made from within
the General Fund.
