CITY OF TIFFIN IOWA RESOLUTION NO 2006- 4 5
A RESOLUTION AMENDING CITY DESIGN STANDARDS SECTION
7.H.5 REGARDING APPROVED WATER SERVICE LINE MATERIALS
WHEREAS, the City of Tiffin, Johnson County, Iowa desires to amend the City
of Tiffin Design Standards,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City of Council of Tiffin, Iowa, that it
hereby amends the City of Tiffin Design Standards by removing Section 7.H.5 and
replacing it to read as follows:
Service pipe must be either seamless annealed copper, Type K conforming to ASTM B-
88 or P.E. 3408 as defined in current ASTM D2239 and AWWA C901 P.E. 200 psi. rated
pipe. See Figure 7.3 for typical water service installation.
ON THE 81b day of November, 2006 at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council,
Tiffin, Iowa, Councilperson n; 1 Q introduced, A RESOLUTION
AMENDING CITY DESIGN STANDARDS SECTION 7.H.5 REGARDING
APPROVED WATER SERVICE LINE MATERIALS, and made a motion for approval.

WHEREUPON, Mayor Glenn R. Potter declared that the RESOLUTION AMENDING
CITY DESIGN STANDARDS SECTION 7.H.5 REGARDING APPROVED WATER
SERVICE LINE MATERIALS, be adopted and signified his approval of the sande by
affixing his signature thereto.
PASSED, by the council on the 8`h day of November, 2006 and approved by the Mayor
on the 8t° day of November, 2006
