A RESOLUTION:
ACCEPTING THE PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS, RELEASING THE
PERFORMANCE GUARANTEES, AND APPROVING MAINTENANCE
GUARANTEES FOR POTOMAC STATION SECTIONS 80, 8E, AND 8F
WHEREAS, Washington Homes, Inc., the developer of the Potomac Station Sections 80, 8E,
and 8F has completed the public improvements in accordance with approved plans and Town standards
and these have been inspected and approved; and
WHEREAS, the Director of Engineering and Public Works recommends accepting the public
improvements and approving maintenance guarantees for the Potomac Station Sections 80, 8E, and 8F.
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia as follows:
SECTION I. The corporate surety bonds from the Hanover Insurance Company in the amount
of $66,221 for Section 80; in the amount of $63,673 for Section 8E; and in the amount of $181,708 for
Section 8F are released, and new securities in a form approved by the Town Attorney for a maintenance
guarantee in the amount pf$10,691.75 for Section 80; in the amount of$11,592.70 for Section 8E; and in
the amount of $27,891.85 for Section 8F from the Fidelity and Deposit Company of Maryland are
approved, and shall be in effect for a period of one year from this date.
SECTION II. This release is contingent upon delivery of a properly executed instrument
conveying unto the Town all such improvements and easements free of any liens or charges.
