RESOLUTION: A WARDING THE KING AND LOUDOUN STREETS MAST ARM
INSTALLATION CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT
WHEREAS, King and Loudoun Streets Mast Arm Installation is a funded Capital Project;
and
WHEREAS, in response to a public solicitation for bids for the construction of the King
and Loudoun Streets Mast Arm Installation, the Town received bids on February 16,2007, from
the following firms:
. The Brothers Signal Company
$134,952.65
. B&B Signal Company, LLC
$194,444.75; and
WHEREAS, the bids were evaluated by the Director of the Department of Capital Projects
Management and the Chief Purchasing Officer in accordance with the Town's Purchasing Policy;
and
WHEREAS, The Brothers Signal Company was determined to be the lowest responsive
and responsible bidder; and
WHEREAS, this is a unit price contract; and
WHEREAS, sufficient funding is available to award this contract; and
WHEREAS, the Director of Capital Projects Management recommends awarding this
construction contract to The Brothers Signal Company, in the amount of$134,952.65 for
construction of the King and Loudoun Streets Mast Arm Installation project.

CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia that the
Town Manager is authorized to execute a contract, in a form approved by the Town Attorney, with
The Brothers Signal Company, in the amount of $134,952.65 for the construction of the King and
Loudoun Streets Mast Arm Installation project.
PASSED this 27th day of February 2007.
