A RESOLUTION: AUTHORIZING TOWN STAFF TO COOPERATIVELY WORK WITH
LCSA TOWARD EXPLORING THE FEASIBILITY OF A COMBINED
AND SHARED WASTEWATER CONVEYANCE SYSTEM FOR
LOWER SYCOLIN CREEK SEWER SHED (LSCSS).
RESOLUTION NO. 2007-37
WHEREAS, on February 12, 2007 Deputy General Manager of Loudoun County
Sanitation Authority (LCSA), Mr. Richard A. Thoesen presented a proposal for possibility of a
single, shared wastewater conveyance system for the LSCSS to serve both the Town's Joint
Land Management Area (JLMA) and the County's Transition Policy Area (TPD).
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of Town of Leesburg in Virginia that the
Town Manager is authorized to work in conjunction with LCSA to explore the feasibility of this
combined and shared wastewater conveyance system for LSCSS.
FURTHER, RESOLVED that staff will report back to Council in 60 days.
PASSED this 27th day of February 2007.
