A RESOLUTION:
A WARDING CONTRACTS FOR MEDICAL, DENTAL, AND VISION CARE
INSURANCE
WHEREAS, the Town of Leesburg provides its employees with a comprehensive health
insurance benefits package; and
WHEREAS, it is the policy of the Town of Leesburg to competitively bid health insurance
coverage from time to time; and
WHEREAS, the Town just concluded a competitive bid process for health insurance coverage.
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia that the Town
Manager is authorized and directed to negotiate and execute contracts with Anthem Blue Cross/Blue
Shield for medical and dental insurance and with EyeCare for vision care insurance for the fiscal year
beginning July 1, 2007 with an option to extend said contracts for up to four additional one year periods.
PASSED this 13th day of March 2007.
