A RESOLUTION: TO REJECT THE TWO RECEIVED BIDS REGARDING THE
AIRPORT PROPERTY KNOWN AS PAD SITE B.
WHEREAS, the Town of Leesburg advertised for bids concerning the airport property
known as pad site B and did receive two bid packages, and
WHEREAS, the Town Council did open both packages and did read the names at the
February 20, 2007 Town Council meeting, and
WHEREAS, the Town and Airport Staffhave reviewed the two bid packages and found
them not to be consistent with the bid requirements, and
WHEREAS, the Airport Director has presented these facts to the Airport Commission
during their March 7, 2007 meeting, and
WHEREAS, the Airport Commission is recommending unanimously to the Town
Council to reject both of the received bids concerning this property, as neither were consistent
with the bid requirements.
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia that two
bids received for the airport property known pad site B be rejected, due to their inconsistency
with the bid requirements.
PASSED this 27th day of March 2007.
