A RESOLUTION: A WARDING A CONTRACT FOR FINANCIAL AND
COMPLIANCE AUDIT SERVICES
WHEREAS, the Town of Leesburg is required to have accounts and records audited
annually by an independent certified public accountant in accordance with the specifications
furnished by the Auditor of Public Accounts.
WHEREAS, the Town of Leesburg concluded a competitive bid process and conducted
interviews with the prospective firms.
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia that the
Town Manager is authorized and directed to implement a contract with PBGH, LLP for financial
and compliance audit services for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2007 with an option to extend
said contract for up to four additional one year terms.
PASSED this 27th day of March 2007.
