CITY OF TIFFIN IOWA RESOLUTION NO 2006- 49
A RESOLUTION AMENDING CITY DESIGN STANDARDS SECTION 12 REGARDING
ROADWAY LIGHTING
WHEREAS, the City of Tiffin, Johnson County, Iowa desires to amend the City of Tiffin
Design Standards,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City of Council of Tiffin, Iowa, that it hereby
Amends the City of Tiffin Design Standards by adding an item (12.06) to Section 12 to read as
follows:
12.06 Within residential subdivision a speck type of hghipole will be required. Depending
on which electric company district the subdivision is located in will determine the light pole
required.
Within the Alliant Energy electric district:
Residential subdivisions will be required to install "Town and Country" style light poles as
specified by Alliant Energy.
Within the Linn County Rural Electric Cooperative district:
Residential subdivisions will be required to install "Coach" style light poles as specified by Linn
County Rural Electric Cooperative.
ON THE 136 day of December, 2006 at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin,
Iowa, Councilperson D i 1 s . introduced, A RESOLUTION AMENDING CITY
DESIGN STANDARDS SECTION 12 REGARDING ROADVV,AY LIGHTING, and made, a ,
motion for approval. The motion was seconded by Councilperson nAm„t h
Ayes: Bartels, Dils, Demuth, Petersen, Wright
Nays: None
Motion carried
WHEREUPON, Mayor Glenn R. Potter declared that the RESOLUTION AMENDING CITY
DESIGN STANDARDS SECTION 12 REGARDING ROADWAY LIGHTING, be adopted and
signified his approval of the same by affixing his signature thereto.
PASSED, by the council on the 13th day of December, 2006 and approved by the Mayor on the
13* day of December, 2006
