ACCEPTING THE PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS, RELEASING THE
PERFORMANCE GUARANTEES, AND APPROVING MAINTENANCE
GUARANTEES FOR POTOMAC STATION SECTIONS 2AB and 2AB-l
A RESOLUTION:
WHEREAS, Goose Creek Communities L.L.C., the developer of the Potomac Station Sections
2AB and 2AB-I has completed the public improvements in accordance with approved plans and Town
standards and these have been inspected and approved; and
WHEREAS, this development is located in Loudoun County and the Town's bonded
improvements are water and sanitary sewer only; and
WHEREAS, the Director of Engineering and Public Works recommends accepting the public
improvements and approving maintenance guarantees for the Potomac Station Sections 2AB and 2AB-I.
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia as follows:
SECTION I. The corporate surety bonds from the Gulf Insurance Company in the amount of
$20,550.20 for Section 2AB; and in the amount of$I6,137.84 for Section 2AB-I; and new securities in a
form approved by the Town Attorney for a maintenance guarantee in the amount of $10,275.10 for
Section 2AB; and in the amount of $4,034.46 for Section 2AB-I from The Travelers Indemnity Company
are approved, and shall be in effect for a period of one year from this date.
SECTION II. This release is contingent upon delivery of a properly executed instrument
conveying unto the Town all such improvements and easements free of any liens or charges.
