A RESOLUTION:
ENDORSING THE ESTABLISHMENT AND LEESBURG'S
PARTICIPATION IN THE TOWNS ASSOCIATION OF NORTHERN
VIRGINIA
WHEREAS, the incorporated Towns of Northern Virginia share many common challenges and
concerns; and
WHEREAS, matters before the General Assembly and other bodies such as the Northern Virginia
Transportation Authority require coordination and collective influence; and
WHEREAS, collective meetings of Mayors and Administrators can be a positive venue for
information sharing and problem solving,
THEREFORE, RESOLVED that the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia endorses the
establishment of the Towns Association of Northern Virginia and Leesburg's full participation.
