RESOLUTION NO. 2007-103
ARESOLUTION: AUTHORIZING ASTREET RESURFACING PROGRAM FOR FY2008
WHEREAS, the FY2008 budget appropriated $858,900 for street milling, resurfacing,
concrete repairs, handicapped ramp installation, and brick sidewalks installation; and
WHEREAS, in a memorandum dated June 20, 2007, the Director of Engineering and
Public W orks has recommended the following streets be included in the FY2008 Street
Resurfacing Program:

5. Heritage Way (Ft. Evans Rd. to Edwards Ferry Rd.)
6. Morven Park Rd (W. Market St. to Old Waterford Rd.)
7. W. Loudoun St. (Morven Park Rd. to Dry Mill Rd.)
8. Dry Mill Rd.(W. Loudoun St. to W&OD Trail)
9. Madison Ct. (Monroe St. to Cul-de-sac)
10. Monroe St. (S. King St. to Cul-de-sac)
11. Clubhouse Dr. (S. King St. to End)
12. Country Club Dr. (Golf Cart Path to End)
13. Clagett St. (Periwinkle Way to Cul-de-sac)
14. Janney St. (Country Club Dr. to Clagett St.)
15. Lawson Rd. (Trailview Blvd. to End)
16. Tavistock Dr. (Mac ali ster Dr. to Sycolin Rd.)
17. Sycolin Rd. (700' N. of Battlefield Pkwy to 300' N. of Hope Pkwy.)

WHEREAS, if funding is available the following streets shall also be included in the
FY2008 Street Resurfacing Program:

THEREFORE, RES OL VED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia as
follows:
The FY2008 Street Resurfacing Program outlined in a memorandum to the Town Council
dated June 20,2007, in the priority listed, is approved.
