ARESOLUTION: APPROVING THE ATTACHED VIRGINIA POWER RIGHT-OF-W A Y
AGREEMENT FOR THE WATER TREATMENT PLANT EXP ANSION
PHASE I PROJECT, AND AUTHORIZING THE TOWN MANAGER TO
EXECUTE THIS AGREEMENT
WHEREAS, Kenneth B. Rollins Water Filtration Plant is currently under expansion for needed
additional water treatment capacity; and
WHEREAS, the contract documents for the capital project expansion of the water treatment
plant include a new underground electric service line from Virginia Power to serve the expanded
portions of the Kenneth B. Rollins Water Filtration Plant; and
WHEREAS, Virginia Power has submitted the attached Right-of-Way Agreement for execution
by the Town to enable Virginia Power to operate and maintain the new said electric service line.
THEREFORE, RESOLVED, by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia that the Town
Manager is authorized to execute this Agreement for the Water Treatment Plant Expansion Phase I
project.
