A RESOLUTION: APPROVING THE A TT ACHED VIRGINIA POWER RIGHT -OF- WAY
AGREEMENT FOR THE UTILITY LINES MAINTENANCE
BUILDING PROJECT, AND AUTHORIZING THE TOWN MANAGER
TO EXECUTE THIS AGREEMENT
WHEREAS, Utility Lines Maintenance Building is a funded capital project currently
under construction; and
WHEREAS, the project's construction contract documents include a new overhead
electric service line from Virginia Power to serve the new building; and
WHEREAS, Virginia Power has submitted the attached Right-of-Way Agreement for
execution by the Town to enable Virginia Power to operate and maintain the said new electric
service line; and
WHEREAS, the agreement is for the sum of one dollar ($1.00) cash in hand from the
grantee to grantor, and for 40 years.
THEREFORE, RESOLVED, by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia that the
Town Manager is authorized to execute this Agreement for the Utility Lines Maintenance
Building project.
