ARESOLUTION: APPROVING THE ATTACHED VIRGINIA POWER RIGHT-OF-WA Y
AGREEMENT FOR THE WA TER POLLUTION CONTROL F ACILITY
UPGRADE AND EXP ANSION PROJECT, AND AUTHORIZING THE
TOWN MANAGER TO EXECUTE THIS AGREEMENT
WHEREAS, the up grade and expansion of the Water Pollution Control Facility is a
funded capital project currently under construction; and
WHEREAS, the project's construction contract documents include a new higher capacity
underground electric service line from Virginia Power to serve the expanded plant; and
WHEREAS, Virginia Power has submitted the attached Right-of-Way Agreement for
execution by the Town to enable Virginia Power to operate and maintain the said new electric
service line; and
WHEREAS, the agreement is for the sum of one dollar ($1.00) cash in hand from the
grantee to grantor, and for 40 years.
THEREFORE, RESOL VED, by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia that the
Town Manager is authorized to execute this Agreement for the Water Pollution Control Facility
Up grade and Expansion project.
