RESOLUTION APPROVING RISE GRANT WITH THE IOWA DEPARTMENT
OF TRANSPORTATION, STATE OF IOWA
WHEREAS, on the' 9t' day of June, 2004, the City of Tiffin has considered
application with the State of Iowa for a RISE grant with the Iowa Department of
Transportation.
WHEREAS, the City of Tiffin desires to request assistance for the purpose of
road improvement on Ireland Avenue and streets within the City of Tiffin for the purpose
of creating a Tiffin Industrial Park in the area of the south exit of Interstate 80 within the
City of Tiffin.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TIFFIN:
That the above RISE Grant Project No. RM -7662(606)-9D-52, Iowa DOT
Agreement No. 2004RO17 Order No. PP -2004-106 with the State of Iowa, Department of
Iowa Transportation be approved for the purpose of improving roadways in the area of
the newly developing Tiffin Industrial Park within the City of Tiffin.
PASSED AND APPROVED THIS 9TH DAY OF JUNE, 2004.
