A RESOLUTION: APPROVING ADDENDUM NO.3 TO THE HAZEN AND SAWYER
ENGINEERING SERVICES CONTRACT TO PROVIDE SERVICES DURING
CONSTRUCTION OF CARR TANK NO.2
WHEREAS, Carr Tank No.2 is a funded capital project; and
WHEREAS, the scope of work in the Request for Proposal for engineering services for the tank
included providing both design and construction phase services; and
WHEREAS, Addendum No.3 in the amount of $140, 1 00 was negotiated with the firm for
providing the construction phase services; and
WHEREAS, the addendum is within the available budget for the project.
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia that the Town
Manager is authorized to execute Addendum No.3 with Hazen and Sawyer in the amount not to exceed
$140,100, paid on actual hours spent for providing the services.
PASSED this 25th day of September 2007.
