ARESOLUTION: ACCEPTING A $1,500 DONATION FOR ROTARY PARK BY THE
LEESBURG ROTARY CLUB AND APPROPRlATING $1,500 TO THE
PARKS AND RECREATION FY08 BUDGET
WHEREAS, the Rotary Club of Leesburg has generously donated $1,500 for improvement
at Rotary Park; and
WHEREAS, the Rotary Club has specifically earmarked this donation for the purchase and
installation of a swing set for Rotary Park; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation staff recommend acceptance of the
donation and appropriating these funds into the Parks and Recreation FY08 budget for the purpose
of purchasing the swing set equipment.
THEREFORE, RESOL VED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia that the
Leesburg Rotary Club donation in the amount of $1 ,500 is accepted and the Parks and Recreation
Department FY 2008 budget is hereby amended, and an appropriation is made in the amount of
$1,500 for the fiscal year beginning July 1,2007 and ending June 30, 2008.
