ARESOLUTION:
MAKING AN APPOINTMENT TO THE LEESBURG STANDING
RESIDENTIAL TRAFFIC COMMITTEE
WHEREAS, participation by public-spirited citizens to Town boards and commissions is vital to
the success of town govemment and the democratic process; and
Whereas, boards and commissions serve an indispensable role in providing recommendations
concern Town policy and programs, and
WHEREAS, Council desires to appoint effective individuals to serve at its will and pleasure on
these advisory boards; and
WHEREAS, on July 24,2000, Council adopted Resolution No. 2000-148 establishing a
procedure concerning appointment of individuals to Town boards and commissions.
WHEREAS, a vacancy exists for the northeast quadrant of Leesburg
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg that Donald Eaves is
appointed to fill the northeast quadrant vacancy which will expire on June 30, 2008.
PASSED this 14th day of November 2007.
