A RESOLUTION:
APPROVING AMENDMENTS TO THE FY 2008 GENERAL FUND
BUDGET, AND MAKING APPROPRIATIONS FOR $4,200
A WARDED THROUGH A DONATION RECEIVED BY THE POLICE
DEPARTMENT FROM THE LOUDOUN CRIME COMMISSION.
WHEREAS, the Loudoun Crime Commission has awarded a donation to the Leesburg
Police Department in the amount of $4,200 in support of law enforcement activities.
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Lees burg in Virginia as
follows:
SECTION I. The FY 2008 General Fund Budget is hereby amended and an appropriation
is made in the amount of $4,200 for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2007 and ending June 30,
2008, as follows to include the adjusted totals to the categories and accounts of the funds listed
below:
a. From the Loudoun Crime Commission a $4,200 donation is received and
appropriations of $4,200 are made to the Police Department FY 2007 budget for the
purchase of equipment to improve and enhance the Police Department's effectiveness.
